As a water soluble product, PotHoleGlue may be applied to environmentally sensitive areas as it has no adverse effects on plants, animals or groundwater. Considering these characteristics, PotHoleGlue is a superb alternative to conventional, more harmful and less effective methods such as cold patch. |  PotHoleGlue is environmentally safe | For larger or multiple applications, PotHoleGlue can be ordered in bulk (55 lbs bags with 42 bags per pallet). One 55 lbs bag of PotHoleGlue (in combination with recycled asphalt and/or aggregate) will cover an area of 50 square feet at 1 inch depth. | PotHoleGlue™ in our Repair Kit Package PotHoleGlue is conveniently packaged as a user-friendly repair kit in a 5 gallon pail. It consists of 45 lbs. of recycled asphalt as the pothole filler and 6.5 lbs. of PotHoleGlue in a reclosable plastic bag that serves as the unique high-quality bonding agent. This package has enough material to permanently fix a 6 square foot pothole at one inch depth. How to apply PotHoleGlue™  Pour the recycled asphalt (RAP) into a wheelbarrow. ½" minus aggregate with 20% fines may be substituted when RAP is not available.
Mix the dry PotHoleGlue into the recycled asphalt. (For smaller potholes, use the amount of recycled asphalt needed and add the equivalent amount of the dry PotHoleGlue. Make sure to reseal the plastic bag for future use). Evenly distribute 0.4 gallons of water over the dry mix (Do not over water!). Thoroughly mix water with the blend of Pot-HoleGlue and recycled asphalt until you have a homogenous pothole patch. Patch might appear somewhat dry; however, this consistency is needed for best compaction. Pour the patch into the pothole and compact it with a hand tamper, plate compactor or similar equipment. Clean wheelbarrow and any other equipment with water. |
